Our Team
Pharmacy Owners
Pioneer Pharmacy is locally owned by Sommer & Michael Pedersen. Michael is a Marine Corps veteran that was born and raised in Riverton. Sommer is from Utah and met Michael while she was attending pharmacy school at the University of Wyoming. They opened the pharmacy at the end of 2019 and will be serving the Riverton community for many years to come.
Our Pharmacist
Sommer Pedersen, PharmD.
Sommer has been a licensed pharmacist since she graduated from the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of Wyoming in 2007. She was the pharmacy manager at Safeway in Riverton for 7 years until it closed in 2017. She is grateful for the opportunity to own her own pharmacy in the wonderful community of Riverton, Wyoming.
Our Pharmacy Techs
Amanda Jarvis, Pharmacy Technician
Amanda has been a certified pharmacy technician since 2010. She worked with Sommer at Safeway for several years. She is a fabulous technician and a valuable member of our Pioneer Pharmacy team!
Charlotte Bascue, Pharmacy Technician
Charlotte has been a certified pharmacy technician since 1998, soon after she moved here from Arkansas. She worked at Smith's pharmacy for over 18 years and loves our community. If you miss her smiling face and southern drawl, drop by and visit her at Pioneer Pharmacy!
